Inter Laboratory testing enables a laboratory to compare its analytical results on an assigned sample with similar other laboratories, on a limited scale. This programme is self regulatory and enables the laboratory to monitor the quality of ‘its’ results and effect corrective actions, if required. AES undertakes this activity in cooperation with several other laboratories at frequent intervals to ensure the correctness of the results produced.
